THERE AIN'T NO CURE FOR THE SUMMERTIME BLUES

If I'm honest, do not even know where to begin to summarize the past few months, and explain why I haven’t been posting anything.

First, in February I had a long talk with my father, who told me that since I was unemployed and there did not seem to be many opportunities, why not study, he would help me pay for it. After thinking for about 5 seconds, I decided it was a good idea and found a degree of Fashion Design at the Art School No. 2. According to the website I had to do
various tests, including an access for people without high school, so I started to beg my friends for books and studied.

But ironies of life, I got a job. As a Teacher's Assistant in a prestigious British school. So I did not have much time to study and came home so tired of being with children that I almost always fell asleep on the couch.
Then came the week of pre-registration, which was so horribly organized that they had to postpone a lot of things, and I found that I have no doing the entrance exam, which just the entry tests. Si, I paid € 50 for the pre-registration, bought material and waited for the fateful day.
The test was a bit horrible. I was probably the oldest person there, except for the teachers, the rest of the students had basic artistic knowledge, and the teachers did not understand the questions that had been created the jury, and so on. Still I passed, but not with a high enough grade to enter. There were only 170 places and we were about 700.

When I told them at work that I was going to be available next year, they said that for now there was no position available, so I am unemployed again.

Lately I'm a little iffy, especially because of my flat, which is not only very expensive for the crap it is, but it has very little light and is affecting my health.
But until we have a contract I can’t move.
Anyway, it’s been a few shitty months. But everything passes; there are beautiful things in this world. I have friends, a wonderful boyfriend who gave me for my birthday tickets to see Judas Priest and Motorhead, two new beauties have been born into the next generation, with two more on the way, the wonderful job that I was fired from last year is having s
ome glitches (karma’s a bitch), and things will get better. This year I’ll just take a few courses in drawing and in June I’ll try to get into school again, and see if I’m lucky.

And how have you been?
