2013

Me quedó increíble.

¡Besos!

*********************************************************

As you can see from my lack of entries this year has been a mess. In July I repeated the entry exam for design school, and this time I got in. Unfortunately, I got a very low grade so I could not choose specialty and I'm doing the first year of interior design, with the hope of changing my major next school year.

In September I started working every day at the academy Ontario, which allows me to study in the mornings.

In October we started the course.
From day one the school has been a disaster. We started more than two weeks late, with less than half of teachers and inadequate space and equipment, but at least I'm doing what I love.

But in November they called to tell me I had to have surgery and I was going to miss the last few weeks. The operation was to remove a myoma from my left ovary, but it was so big that they had to remove the whole ovary. So I spent all Christmas vacation lying on the couch recovering.

Upon returning to school in January, I found that there were teachers who felt that surgery was not an excuse to miss class and it was very difficult to recover the backlog. Still, I passed 5 subjects of 7, and the two that I flunked I didn’t go to the exam. I got an 8.6 on science! I still can’t believe it. The Gentle Giant of course helped me a lot, especially with science and technical drawing.

As for hobbies, as everyone who reads my blog knows, I love dressing up, and since the last time I wrote Halloween and Carnival have gone by, so I have to talk about two different costumes.

On Halloween I continued the cinema villain’s thread, and I dressed as Ravenna from Snow White and the Huntsman. My costume was amazing. The Gentle Giant was ofTony Stark, he aced the Arc Reactor.

And in Carnival we went as Thor and Valkyrie from Marvel and we looked great.

Economically ... I try not to complain, knowing how bad things are, but the truth is I'm fucked. Just the travel card for school eats up my budget for bills. This month (again), I don’t know if I can pay the rent. The world is screwed.

Socially ... That is another issue. GG and I continue going strong (3 ½ years!) And I have recently made a few new friends. But on the other hand, I have lost contact with a person I love very much. I will not go into details, I will just say that it was because, regardless of how much I care for someone, if can’t condone their actions, I do not feel comfortable with that person and I can’t support them. But it has been very hard, especially Christmas and the holidays. Normally towards everything with that person, the costumes, buy gifts, celebrate the New Year, and I missed him. But the way things are.

I promise to update more (I say that every entry!) And start to upload more about my school work.
Kisses!
